Any truth in the rumour i heard on the weekend that Adelaide Asteras
have merged with Limnos and next season will be playing in Div2 under
the name Asteras Stingrays
Interesting. Limnos has always being a good club and one I have enjoyed playing against. The biggest problem for them was the lack of supporters. It seemed to be the players having to do everything.
more chance of merging with raptors. players from both clubs going skirmishing in january........could be the formation of a super greek club from east subs., playing out of trinity gardens.

@ Chris.
I know the players at your club and at asteras are quite close and have played together before, but they are independent clubs. Would have thought both clubs are doing OK? Surely Asteras & Raptors won't look to merge?
Limnos isn't looking for a merger, They club is probably looking to pass on its position in DIV 2 and Ground Facilities, but the doc and the devil are the ones to call that.
@frappe, i was just stirring the pot. some players are very close between our clubs, and we would love to play with each other again....we might even play football 2...lol
big call down at limnos, and quite emotional i would imagine.

thats what happened with northern united, a merger was done with the eastern park wolves so a new club was created and we had to start off at div5
Clubs that merge can stay in the higher division as long as the new club that evolves from the merger has parts of both original clubs names e.g. if aAdelaide were to merge with Melbourne in the A-League "Adelaide Victory"

2 bad you didnt stay there
um, why?
LFTWNG11 was still playing for Athelstone when we played at your ground for the first time last season and his antics saw him being the target of some of your supporters... I must admit some of the comments your guys directed at him were pretty funny!

hes just some nut who goes to our games!
I think I know which skinhead guy you are talking about. I would disassociate myself from him too if he came to our games... lol He was there for our games. I don't think he can handle his booze
