Team Lists - One Hit wonder?

Post by billy the kid »

Am I missing something OR have there been no team lists of womens' game results in the paper lately?

For sure. Ditto mate.

Then again, I must try and make a "positive" out of this one...Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Sorry can't. not in the paper = NOT Worthy/Interested/Omission/Someone has too much work/

Take a pick. The outcome is the same. Not in the paper is dissapointing and disrespectful!!

they appeared on ffsa website and i got the email sent out by the ffsa.

i did some investigating, rang the ffsa and they said it was submitted to the sports desk as per other weeks and same time as the men's was.

so i guess it was the paper that ommitted them. Who do we contact at the advertiser to speak to why it wasnt in?

bennylava - i think its since sturt have been playing poorly - fulham won 4 leagues and we couldnt get in the paper - geez we couldnt even get the league cup to our games when we seeled the league - but the cup was sitting on the sideline waiting for sturt when they beat us.........................

get over it
fulham = league champions four years in a row was it? so i think they can have a not so good season maybe..

fulham = five starters missing two games ago
last game they said they were missing players again

basically. shut up. and get over it. having players missing affects any team. even the best
and omg. three games in
i do believe you can't effectively judge a team on three games.

You can still play well without your starters, just not come away with the results. Anyways, there are lots of other teams in the same boat and they're holding their own.
Cumberland for instance on Sunday - they didn't get 'thumped' did they? And they were certainly minus a few of their starters.

for about 30 minutes we played poorly against campbelltown and we lost it....therefore, overall a poor performance. our performances against metro n city have been far from poor

I have to agree with ecky. its been 3 games.
you cant expect teams to come out with their best in the first few games. with new players its gonna take a while.
i dont think you can fairly judge a team after 3 games. at least wait til everyones played everyone once. then see how the standing is.
and ok fulham can admit to a poor PERFORMANCE. a reference to a single game, in which they've come out and said to give campbelltown some credit! they're not making excuses at all, so get over the fact that fulham lost to campbelltown. its football. anything can happen, to any team!
give a team a break!

yeah exactly. it's not like fulham girls on here are desperately trying to make excuses for their games.
and tattz is right. stop judging until yeah, maybe all the teams have played each other.
and by being all OMG fulham are playing poorly, where is the credit to campbelltown? they also scored three goals against sturt.
good on em :)

well 2-0 is hardly a thrashing.
and if you say they didnt play well and you only beat them 2-0 what are you trying to say about cumby on sunday?
just because you come out on top as the better team doesnt mean that the other team put in a poor performance.
