had a shocking ref on Saturday....

I'm currently in a bed at the RAH, because I need surgery on my ankle (fractures in ankle/shin +ligament damage) from a disgusting tackle from behind.

Ref didn't even give the guy a card. Not even sure if he gave a free kick or just played a goal kick.

all part of the banter, I used to cop a lot of it when 3-4 years ago I would orange boots, with matching wrist bands and head band. Used to be asked what time I'm performing in a musical or just flat out, "really, how gay are you?". Take it with a smile, tell the homophobic guy on the sidelines ...

when abusing a ref, they end up being one and the same

I was running the line for uni there this year. And I flagged the ball out against my own team, the murray bridge ref played the "advantage" as the ball went back to the keeper. There is no advantage if the ball is out of play.
