Re: Junior academies
Thanks for all the replies, I had a look at Drago with my Son, seems like a good balance of coaching/education and I also like the idea that his family is involved in the coaching as well, does go on for quite a while but my son really enjoyed it, so thanks for those who put him forward.

Does this mean that Vikings are folding, I wonder if many players will end up at Wanderers.

My wife has been training with Step into Life twice a week, for about 45 minutes a session in the park. She pays $150.00 per month and does not receive any kit or equipment to use. So my question is that if a senior amateur football club offers training twice a week, 6.30-8pm, a game on the weekend ...

Re: Allstars and Wanderers folding?
From a committee member of Wanderers, we can confirm that we will not be folding or merging with any club next season. As with most clubs you have up and down seasons, our main priority this season was to keep in the Saturday Premier of which we did. We also have the added bonus of having our ...

A's Jets 0 - 3 Wanderers
B's Jets 0 - 3 Wanderers
Good results for Wanderers, both games played in good spirits, Wanderers took their chances in the A game to win a tight game.

Re: Results Saturday 30/4/11
Allstars 4 v Wanderers 5 Great game for the neutrals, Wanderers 2-0 up within 2 minutes, but as with any game with Allstars that would never be the end result. Allstars pulled one back with probably the best free kick I have witnessed at this level, shortly before halftime it was 2-2. Start of the ...

Re: Villa Vs Wanderers
that referee is the BIGGEST cheat u will ever come across. Not only does he turn a blind eye to most things from the home team, he also runs the line in the A team. If he can manage to stumble along the line. Against Villa, he was pissed before half time, and at half time, took another few beers ...

Re: Villa Vs Wanderers
shame the ref did not show some balls and send off the PLAYERS involved Like that incident in the reserves game against Bosa where the referee chose not to see it? Like someone else mentioned before BODO, you were not there, so do not comment, I think Bodes has already put a seperate post on this ...

i was not there so i dont know any more than has been written on here. so i dont know who started what. i was meaning if this was to happen again it sets a precedent for the future which could have other motives behind it eg if you would prefer team a to win the league, and they are one point ahead ...

We played at a Premier Saturday game last weekend, they run out of beer, we had no eskies, if you want us to support your club provide enough beer, we are more than happy to drink it !!

St.Peters V Wanderers
B's 4-2 (I think)
A's 0-3
B's for Wanderers well under par with at least 7 regulars missing, St.Peters well deserved the win.
A's Wanderers dominant, could have been more and had all the play, good to see some confidence coming back after the great cup win last week.

Re: referee's
First post, so not sure if this has been discussed before. I have watched a set of Saturday matches for the past three weeks and cannot understand why the referee's are so bad.... for each reserves match, the games have started off being neutral, competitive and in good nature, the referee's then ...
