Hi guys,

I am a mad football enthusiast and run a blog on and for Tasmanian football - Blackjack's. Drop by and have a read about what's happening in on the Tasmanian scene (predominantly Southern Tasmania - Hobart)

interesting... i have a friend whos studying down there and was gonna go play at hobart olympic this year...
hes an adelaide boy who used to play here till he broke his leg couple of years ago... not bad player

I was on holiday in Tassie a couple of years ago, and saw a game in Hobart at a ground that I think was called KG5 or something like that. It's hard to judge the standard of a league from just one game but it looked about the same as our State League. The thing that struck me was the amount of very young players that were playing senior football.
