Do you think that if you stop charging so much for rego you may get more players?
Honest question.
Btw: assuming you charge $800+ like most clubs

I am amazed by the fact that you think $800 a year is expensive. Break it down by sessions per year and then tell me it's expensiveChico wrote:Do you think that if you stop charging so much for rego you may get more players?

$800x 15 kids = $12K
$12K divided by a max of 50 session = $240 per session
Pretty good business for someone if you ask me....

I thought CKSC had heaps of players across these age groups this year, so its interesting that they are a bit short now - the U15 and 16's results I believe were not to flash this year so maybe that's part of it?

When a specific coach leaves, there is potential to drag a lot of players out as well. My view is if players play for a specific coach, then they aren't really "club" people anyway, so adios, and make room for those who want to be there or looking for a fresh opportunity.Mr Red wrote:I thought CKSC had heaps of players across these age groups this year, so its interesting that they are a bit short now - the U15 and 16's results I believe were not to flash this year so maybe that's part of it?

Why not break it down further???redwin wrote:gee_kay wrote:I am amazed by the fact that you think $800 a year is expensive. Break it down by sessions per year and then tell me it's expensiveChico wrote:Do you think that if you stop charging so much for rego you may get more players?

$240 per session divided by 15 players = $16 per player per session ( session goes for 1.5hrs) = $10.66 per hour
We are also supposed to take into account we have trial matches, cup matches and league matches that we havent accounted for???
Pretty good business to me???? I dont think so!! have you taken your kids to swimming, tennis, dancing lessons and see how much that costs per hr????

Bump
16's/17s
Still a chance for players of this age to become part of something "big and exciting" at the club in the coming years.
