Congratulations to Sturt for the upset win against Adelaide City. Sturt have become quite competitive and put in a good defensive performance against City, who seemed to be in control for large parts of the game. I felt sorry for City's impressive number six (Alexandra Ladas) who was injured and stretchered off just before half time. Until she got hurt, she bossed the midfield and was the best player on the ground. Tiarn Powell's penalty was expertly taken and wrapped up an unlikely result for Sturt.
