Trial Result

Legga - any update on the community interest trial fixture (set for February?) at the Magistrates court? I hear there is likely to be a high attendance.

As far as I know it is happening this week,could be wrong. Sentencing but the way said convict has stalled and postponed believe it when it happens, as for turn out it is going to be a big one....Got the conviction we were after now for the cherry on top.....Fingers crossed everyone....Once find out will let you know.....

Maybe a one-way trip to Bali - they seem to know how to dish out a decent sentance.

Just got word Wednesday at 10.00am it is......Fingers crossed there is justice and at 4.00pm Wednesday he is getting acquainted with his new bunky bubba.....

Tomorrows sentencing got adjourned today until the 13th March, black friday at least that is some comfort. Time to get out the voodoo doll, using every trick in the book to delay date night with Bubba.....

Just an update, was in court on black Friday for sentencing submissions, goes back this Tuesday for his punishment / verdict....Nothing like swift justice the cogs turn slowly....Looks like date night with bubba is Tuesday....... :!:

Well it has been all done and dusted as of today and the fucktard got a two year suspended sentence and he said he will pay back the 14k he ripped off of us ( :roll: :roll: :roll: ) yeah right. As a club we were after a conviction and the sentence was a bonus. We also got to hear about his previous convictions that sent a shiver down everyones spine...enjoy your freedom you bloated piece of crap and every club down south be aware of this scum. Cheers for everyones support and encouragement over the journey and one final word to this convited fraudster and convicted ------ who was sentenced to 3 and a half years in the 1990's for the blanked out crime... Karma is a bitch and everyone knows what you are all about.....Enjoy your next court case with this suspended sentence sitting over you.... :clown: :clown: :clown:

Let's hope justice is served and the monies owed to the club get back to where they belong. As for the Club itself, good luck to Elizabeth Downs moving forward. A horrible turn of events in everyones eyes Legga, All the best.

Cheers, everyone at the club is glad it is over after 3 years. We can put this all behind us so this is the last you will hear about it from me on here. Suspended sentence - how sad. Someone can systematically rip off a community based entity full of volunteers and just walk away??? that just doesn't seem right. Let's be honest if this had happened to just about any other club in the SAASL to that extent it is more than likely they would not have been able to recover. Well done to everyone at the Downs for a) pulling together and surviving and b) pursueing the scum bag to the end. I've seen this happen at Gardens and unfortunately the club let the scum bag walk away to probably reoffend some where else. Scum of the earth.

I can speak from experience about annoyance of arseholes that get away with suspended sentences. Sadly the "justice" system is more about the perpetrator's way forward in life, and rarely do victims get much consideration.
Lets hope that karma will take care of this scum bag.
Best of luck moving on to the "honest hard working clan" at the Downs!
