Tottenham considering hiring David Moyes as manager

Post by Telson11 »

David Moyes is emerging as a contender to become Tottenham’s next manager but senior figures at the club are divided over his possible appointment following his dismal short reign at Manchester United.

Standard Sport understands chairman Daniel Levy remains a keen admirer of the 50-year-old Scot, having considered him to replace Harry Redknapp in 2012 before opting for Andre Villas-Boas.

Personally I think moyes is ok, had he had a fit rooney and rvp for the entire year he would be at least 10 points better off, could be a good pick up for spurs.

Just the thought of it makes me feel a little queasy :(

Should have signed Martinez when Harry left.

Moyes is a good manager but he was let down badly by Fergie & Co by not being given time to stamp his authority on the club.

Fergie was given 7 years before he won anything and Moyes deserved at least three years to rebuild his squad.

The UTD squad was full of players who were Fergie-ites and had played all their careers for the one manager - no one could have done any better than Moyes in that position.
