Mate, get over who scores - it's a team game.manu17 wrote:Day 4:

SA not being embarassed - that's a significant improvement.

Hey Muts
No body is saying anything about the scorers just advising how both teams are traveling
and by the looks of it they are both going well thats a credit to the ffsa and all kids involved
if its such a team sport why do people make such a big deal about Messi, Ronaldo and lets not forget about Delpierio.... :lol

Re: State Nationals 2012
To quote myself:
""Special players win games" is the big message in that material.
Oh the controlling parents will have there kids playing centre forward and attacking midfield, and everyone else can please themselves - that's not development, that's the current political conundrum of the skilleroos and state teams."
Little johnny getting named by little Johhny's Dad as a scorer, just raises the whole political process of the selection of these players further - Standard Adelaide City fare.
I DO believe we're doing more than ever developing players with potential, under FFA programs, and you can see that at underdale every night of the week, and that's going to improve the standard in SA and Nationally.
SA is putting in a solid performance at 13s and 14s as a result - but I'm sure the other states suffer the same politics.

The results are copied from the northern nsw football website (official website), which shows the goalscorers for all games.

Time for some righteous indignation

Re: State Nationals 2012
Not sure if you lads have actually played at one of these tournaments but I did in 1995 u/15, 1998 schoolboys, and 1999 schoolboys. I wish a sight like this had been around so when I scored my one goal in 1995, 1 in 1998 and 2 in 1999 from CM I could have seen my name on a National web site. Or seen my team mates names and the smiles on their faces that they know their proud parents would be seeing the same things.
