Is the guy a Man Utd fan? He does them a great deal but then gets sacked... obviously GM know they have got themselves into a right old mess, paying that much.

I wasn't implying they did, but is the sacking because he did a bad deal for GM? If so I wonder if he is a UTD fan?

Not a loaded question, a genuine query.

GM were fucked well before this deal, the deal is prob a bit overpriced but does get them world wide exposure

hahahahahaha this is gold.

You must be suffering then cos you rarely win trophies! Last year's league cup win really is giving you that little straw to clutch onto isn't it?

No team in history wins top honours every single year, look at Barca last season. We were up there challenging though as usual.

Although it's fair enough if he's happy with one league cup in 7 years.

No technically to it. I am right.

We have won more trophies than UTD in our history, and they are an older club, so we have won more in less.
We have won more in the past year than utd
We have less debt than Utd.

Game, Set, Match!

@DAM I am content with what I have.

You need to go here, as you have lost yours

@Stewie, I trust RVP and other players views more than yours. The fact they agree with me and others proves we know what we are on about. You play to win, you don't play to qualify....

This is so pathetic. It's like arguing with a kid.

Seriously? Straw clutching again perhaps? How have you gone in the past few years for silverware?

The league cup was a fantastic achievement wasn't it? So much so even that useless jock got the sack at the end of the season!

Wow, so have West Brom and Wigan. Not really sure what you mean by that?

@Jimbob you say facts are embarrassing? You don't like them because it shows you up, you can't live with us historically short or long term.

At the start of last season Wigan and West Brom got what they wanted...premier league survival
LFC got what they wanted a trophy and a return to European football

Your mob failed on all counts...what was your highlight last season?

LFC were so pleased with their Europe qualification they decided to have a gay purple shirt with UFC tattoo design on the sleeves & orange trim, very old Liverpool colours no doubt.
What happens when Gerrard retires and suarez goes to a club that plays in the UCL?
Bottom 6 for scousers ? :clown:

And people said LFC would be doomed without Keegan...then Souness...then Dalglish.....you are the :clown: Don't try and play with people who know what they are on about. Kindy kids are more your level.

If championships is the only important thing, why are you so worried about being in top 4?
Using your logic, Liverpool and Utd had the same season last year, 0 championships.

So you are admitting trophies are better then no trophies.

When have I said facts are embarrassing? Are you honestly saying you are happy with a single solitary league cup in 7 seasons? I suppose that shows where Liverpool are now as a club!

Like I keep saying, you can't win major trophies every single year without fail, no club has ever done it in the history of the sport. As long you're there challenging year in year out thats all we can ask for.

But I keep forgetting you've got smaller debt then us so none of the above really matters
