The 'if only' time is gone, but what an opportunity missed by the Olyroos & Matildas to lift the profile of the game at the London party!
The Matildas deserved to be there in the USA, France & Colombia group instead of the drug cheat weirdos of North Korea.
And what a group the Olyroos would have been in with the hosts Great Britain, ye olde enemy Uruguay & Senegal.

The team selections where absolutely wrong.....It's almost like someone didn't want us there. Maybe they bet money on it. Even an amateur c grade coach could of picked a side and given it tactics that would have at least given us a goal

They have bet money on it. Hopefully lesson learnt. I know they do it to justify funding etc but way too many great players were not selected
