Bloody Foreigners!!!
how come no uproar regarding the ease with which an englishman went down for a penalty??...unless of course A. Young is not English..

Even the commentators were saying English players can get away with constant diving without being labelled as such.Soon as a foreigner falls over,the knives are out...funny that.

not to mention how often 'big clubs' (man u & chelsea) get favourable decisions....anywhere else ie Italy and the words..."corruption, bribary and fixed" get thrown around.....

Haven't seen the incident you speak of but it's coming more and more into the game. Even saw Millwall player go down very easily the other day and I never thought that would happen. Brilliant article by Gary Neville on the subject at the weekend in the Daily Mail.
I don't agree with him often but his opening paragraph is so true about not letting people see you're hurt. The English game has always been a physical but honest one and it's the game that I was brought up on.
I played yesterday and a good hard game was had without a single booking. There would have been red cards if this game was played in australia or on the continent.
To say the diving in the English game which is so prevelant now isn't from a foreign influence is truly laughable and shows a distinct lack of understanding of the culture of our game.

anyone notice the deafening silence from the mainstream meadia in response to joel selwoods admission of staging for free kicks?????
