2014, 2018, 2022, will all be shown live on SBS, good win for Free to AIR TV.

They're on the anti-siphoning list so in truth not much competition given their timezones.

agree the world cup will be shown where it belongs.

Remember when Channel 9 had the rights to the Koreo/Japan WC in 02 they faarrrrken it right up

On free to air I absolutely agree but against all channels including PayTV, I'm willing to rate Foxtels coverage just as good when you consider their broadcast of the EURO championships in 04 were as good as any broadcast covered by SBS in all the years prior and since that one and only Foxtel coverage of a major International tournament 8)

They might have to replace Les as host by 2022 - first saw him on SBS in the early 1980s...
