South Coast United v TTG

A's - Game was called off by the Ref.
- TTG forgot their Player Cards for the A team, although they had a fully completed team sheet. Ref wouldnt play unless he had the cards, so TTG B's were going to take the field again to play SCUSC A's.
South Coast were out on the pitch warming up when we saw the ref walk off, get in his car and leave. That was the end of it, no game played.

Heard that the ref was going to let the game be be played, but a gully player went into the refs room forcsome reason and threatened him or something, so he said he was afraid for his safety after what happened a few weeks back with besa and took off in his car, apparently, can anyone confirm this?

Thoroughly deserved win in both games, no idea what that ref was thinking, lost complete control of the game, then start waving red cards like it was the fkin Mardi Gra. Three for lions and one for Port Pirie.

Also to the number 11 who spat on the Lions player, you're a hero mate, shame you're shooting aim isn't as good as your spitting aim.

apparantly the TTG player said "your a fucking wanker ref" hardly a threat.

If he was going to let the game go ahead why the hell would you go "poke the bear" by throwing choice words at him in the refs room before the game? This makes little to no sense.

If this is in fact what happened then I would imagine that the ref may have been fairly threatened by this. I am guessing that if a guy walked into the refs room (while the ref was presumably by himself) and called him a "f*ing whatever" he wouldn't have done it in a "nice" way, would he? I think it would be fair enough if he decided to pull the pin.

This might all be just a lot of Chinese whispers and be way off the mark, but if this is what did happen I hope TTG apply a fair bit of heat to the moron involved. Obviously you don't want that sort of shite happening. Costing you 3 points and making you lose touch with the top of the table makes it even worse.
