This was my first port of call, but when it looked like the reserves wouldn't go ahead I went and had a look at West Beach.

Southern Knights ( 4 ) Port Pirie ( 3 )
Steve Mag-U-ire 2, Scott Bradley, Dustin McMahon

A late goal from Knights substitute Dustin McMahon in the 95th minute stretched Knights unbeaten league run to 5 games.
The game was played in somewhat slippery conditions (weren't they all!) and saw Port Pirie have the better of Knights in the first half. Like the away encounter, Knights fought back from being behind 1-2 to a lead of 3-2. Pirie contered well and equalised in the 85th minute, however Knights pushed and found a winner in the closing stages.

Interesting to see a Gully player sent off for swearing at the ref, second yellow and a correct decision yet a Vista player spat (lowest thing to do) at a Gully player in front of the ref and got a yellow. The Vista gollie chased Derek Simpson out of the box after a fumble and as they tangled the keeper deliberately kicked Simmo after the ball went out and got a yellow as well as Simmo (SOME WEIRD DECISIONS ALL DAY)

Yes Gully were beaten convincingly but the ref is well passed his used by date. Not sour grapes after the loss as I spoke to many Vista players and supporters and they all thought this ref should look at giving the game up

Mate your an oxygen thief, if you cant be honest say nothing at all. The ref was crap, he couldn't keep up with play and he just blatantly didn't have a clue. The funniest thing is he liked dishing out advice BUT when he received it back he was a big blouse. I had to laugh that in your clubrooms he was telling a group of people the ins and outs of the game, he was talking to 3 women.

And I bet you were one of many Vista supporters that dished out crap all day but didnt kick a ball today.

And I don't know what Gannon said to our linesman BUT don't forget mate you quit last year after we beat you 3-2 at home. Some things are best left unsaid.

There was a mauling at Vista today..
Gully were quite competitve and almost equalised before Vista cleared it off the line.
When they went 3-1 down, heads dropped and the game was over.
Dubouis calls from the refs towards both sides..
Some reckless tackles received yellow cards and some received jack!
Vistas attack looks too decisive and should see them through to Divy 1!

Downs 1 Farm 0 Tough game on a swamp but Downs prevailed with a Sam Parisi goal in the 70th minute. Game was evenly balanced till the 65th min and Luke Hall won two hard ball gets which turned the game on its head and Downs played like winners till the end. Ben Aldridge pulled off some world class saves. Farm committed $500 to the Downs in Pink fundraiser. Well in Farmers.
