With Vidmar already set in place as Assistant Coach

Post by Blotto »

does anyone think that Han Berger (Australia's Technical Director) is Pim's replacement?

Seems to be a tad odd that they would announce an assistant before a head coach is agreed upon.

Cant imagine any coach worth their salt would be happy about being told that their assistant has already been hired for them.

Thoughts?

I wonder if they already have a coach lined up, and are (tactfully) waiting until after the world cup to make the announcements.

lol. Probably not.

I would think that Vidmar is also appointed equally as a learning coach and a player liaison?

Probabaly not much different to the Pim/Graham Arnold situation with Arnie's spot pretty much in concrete before Pim's appointment.
I actually wish Vidmar well, as he now has a big input to our country's national interest moving forward.
Let's face it, a big chunk of current Aussie squad wont be around for the next World Cup.
