This is interesting. The Hot Weather policy states that the Temp for Sunday is taken from Fridays weather report (34 degrees). TTG were not allowed to play at 1.15pm and 3pm (checked Friday with SAASL at 3pm). Are you insured for this game? Do you have official referees?

Sorry Robbo I forgot I was talking to an 8 year old so Ill explain it better. On Friday when the Amateur League office was open and I rang to ask a question, "What do we do if the temprature gets changed for Sunday (as in lower than 33)" the answer from the Amateur League was " The temperature :D is taken from Fridays advertiser" if it states its 34 degrees on Sunday then thats what we go with, its too hard to re arrange referrees etc on Saturdays.

surely the SAASL should take the latest forecast available LRO ?? Thursday night Friday morning Advertiser is just silly - thats 3 days before a sunday game.. And wat do u mean 8 yo !!

Oh well, next Sunday is forecast 31, so all should be well.

Farm beat BOSA 5-1 i think in the 1st team and the B Team won 5-2 (I think)

Hahndorf ( 2 ) Southern Knights ( 8 ) ...might have been 9 ?
Goood day out for the Knights, the new inclusions looked promising and somewhat formidable at times !

Reserves - Hahndorf ( 0 ) Southern Knights ( 1 )

TTG VS BRAHMA LODGE

2 games

1st Game
Brahma 2 TTG 1 - Good game lots of good signs for both teams, WAS IT A PENALTY TO BRAHMA?

2nd Game
Brahma 4 Def TTG 2 - TTG were outplayed for most of the game we were 2nd to the ball and not close enough to our players, fitness came into it but well done to Brahma they played very well. Took Mo 6 minutes to get on the scorecard. He will be a big help to them, so was Nezda, very sharp (in fact it was hard to pick a bad player for Brahma). TTG had a few young lads that done well. TTG have a few positives to take out of this game, Gregs goal was a cracker (he said it was 40 yards out) as I said to my lads, you dont win the league in your first trial game.

Great hospitality from Brahma today, much appreciated.

Referees......... Ill leave that alone its there pre season too!

Geez, I was at Hahndorf yesterday - would have popped over for a while if I knew there was a game on. Lyndon play?

He scored? Wow, I would have loved to have seen that!
Not sure about the beer bit. Maybe a bit far to risk having too many being on the road etc.

Good hit out we started at 1.15pm and the temp was 31 in the sun according to my car... plenty of positive signs with the club scoring 10 goals in two games and having 9 different goal scorers. great effort from Bosa who played well in both games and worked hard all day. (the scoreline in the reserves could well have been Bosa 10 - 5 Ingle Farm had it not been for poor finishing) The first team brought 22 Bosa players for the match and sure enough at halftime the entire squad was changed. Another well organised day and makes the Salisbury Inter vs Ingle Farm game on Wednesday all the more exciting.

Went to watch the Pontian Eagles vs Modbury Vista game after and was interested to see Vista's new signings play really well with on in particular probably best on ground in my opinion. The B game looked slow and scrappy however I do believe that was their second hit out of the year. The A's was a high intensity game with some very good passages of play and plenty of skill on show. Game finished 1-1 and a deserved score if you ask me. Good to see the pontians pitch look a million bucks, can't wait to play there later in the year.

Who are Vista's new signings
Heard they have got a young lad from Modbury who won the super league association medal for the reserves last year.

I'll leave it up to a Vista member to inform everyone as I'm not 100% sure on names...

Jarrad Noel is the player, very good, fit, young, skillful player and if his performence yesterday is anything to go by he will be a great addition. Had a terrific game and was easily best on ground in my opinion.

must have missed the first 2 goals as both were from great build up, the first half was definately better quality though, heat prob played a part, with vista trying to play the ball around and keep it on the deck, pontian were more a long ball side looking to play in the quick little forward or find the head of the big #9
