Fair point - I believe they do it on World Rankings, no? Are England in the top 7? (taking into account RSA). If not, the group works because there's no two teams in the same confederation.

teams that go through the playoffs should not get first seed, that is a joke, and so is the seeding in the playoffs, fifa only did it to try and make sure the big stars are there for the tv dollars
