A Grade - Murray Bridge 2 - Simba 3

B Grade murray Bridge Utd 3 - Simba 2

MBUTD have to be content with 3rd.. We led 2-1 with 5 mins to go and they equalised.. We threw everything forward as we needed the win and got caught with a sucker punch 3rd from a fast counter..

A game we looked comfortable in until they scored a scrappy 2nd to level it.. Ball bouncing around the box and just didnt go our way.

On a personal note it wasnt the final game for the club that I quite had in mind but we played well and I set up our second so I reckon I just about justified getting a start..

As usual our injury list after a game agasint Simba is huge.. I have a lump on my head the size of a golf ball after catching a knee in the head while I was JUMPUNG for the ball! Our centre half went off just after half time after getting stamped on, our right back caught an elbow in the mouth and has lost half of one of his front teeth.. get the picture?

If only two teams get promotion the only saving grace for us is that we won't have to play that bunch of hackers.. Pitch invasion after each of their goals (as usual) and then some unpleasantness after the final whistle made it a disappointing day all round..

On the upside 4 of our youth teams won thier respective competitions!

Our reserves were 3-0 up at half time and did well to hold on to the points in another hard fought game..

Adel Uni 1 Stirling 2
With Uni pushing for an equaliser in the last 10 minutes.
With the chances we had we probably should have won by a few more.

ACU Falcons 2 - 0 Adelaide Uni (3) (Reserves 2-1)

Fantastic scenes at Collins with out reserves pulling off their first win of the season and its history for that matter.

Seniors will finish 4th now but not sure about whats happening with the catchup games.
