If he didn't take any part in qualifying he shouldn't be there.

he's one of the best strikers to have ever played for australia, i hope he plays at the world cup

I agree with the Hamster. He didn't take any part in the qualifying so why should he get a walk up start now? If he was in awesome form then I can understand it but he hasn't scored for Newcastle for ages & I think there are better options up front than an out of form Viduka at the moment.

There is more than 1 player in a side you know! You dont think the likes of Kewell, Kennedy, McDonald or Cahill could put them in the back of the net?

Agree with this comment. If anything he should be coming off the bench on his current form - if needed at all. Definitely not a walk-up start ATM IMO.

i think your right there,
but these boys dont have the same experience tht dukes has maybe harry. If we want success we need more than one player which is usually cahill to stand up and take the next stage.

Pigs arse, if you want to play you make an effort during qualifying, you don't waltz in at the expense of someone who has helped the team qualify.
