Round 1 of all cup competitions except for the Adelaide Airport Premier Division was drawn on Thursday 30 April 2009 at the FFSA Offices, Corner Manton and Holden Streets, Hindmarsh. The draw was made in the presence of Tracey Brennan, Administration Assistance, Marisa DeCeglie, Administration Officer, Rebecca Morrison, Women’s Competition Co-ordinator, Kaitlyn Psaila, FFSA Receptionist, and Wendy Carter, Club and Competition Manager.

All games outlined below are to be played on Sunday 7 June 2009. FFSA is aware that the Junior Association State Championships are being held on this weekend and consequently if a team has 3 or more players involved in this championship a rescheduling of the game can be requested. Please note that it is three or more players from one team not from the club.

The first team named is the home team and the game will be played at the home teams’ venue at their scheduled kick-off time. Both teams involved in the game are responsible for paying half of the match official fee.
He cannot kick with his left foot, he cannot head a ball, he cannot tackle and he doesn't score many goals. Apart from that he's all right.
