From the website

ELIZ DOWNS (W1)
ELIZ DOWNS (W2)
PARAFIELD GARDENS
PONTIAN EAGLES
SALSIBURY VILLA
TEA TREE GULLY CITY

So 5 clubs, 6 teams in the first year.

Not bad.

Not bad, not great but is a goer and will get bigger each year. If my calculations are correct about six more than the FFSA Metro League.

So expect Pontian Eagles to forfeit most of their matches like last season and be down to 5 teams!

They probably did because like alot of clubs they didnt wanna travel for miles and have 1pm or 3pm ko times so they couldnt watch their boyfriends, husbands or kids play in the afternoon not to mention helpers or coaches who are more than likely playing or watching the mens teams and not to mention the cost.

So its quite simple why there are clubs getting behind the SAASL comp. Im sure there will be more next year and maybe this year once clubs realise its a up and running considering the fear factor that went around come rego time wonder where that came from :?:

You just said thats because they didnt want to travel the miles.

Pontians are Woodville based.

Yet they are playing against teams which are around 20km away!!!

Stirling & Panthers yer they are just around the corner from Woodville
You obviously dont know your way around Adelaide much easier to drive north than south or the hills from Woodville. And guess what if they are in SAWSA Div 5 pack the water bag your off to Woodside to the Hawks and Div 4 back to Stirling (its way out of the township) you go. So whats your point :?:
