New Clubs

Post by vitesse »

I believe that any group of people can start a junior club, be it Beverley Lions, Adelaide Jaguars or Adelaide Stingrays if they have the support of the parents, players, qualified people to coach and people to run the club all they need is the support of the governing body and follow the rules and regulations outlined by their governing body.

As far as poaching players is concerned the governing body have set criteria as long as this is kept to any junior player can move from one club to another.
To many clubs believe they have the right to keep that player, if a person is not happy or not getting the opportunity at a particular club obviously they are going to move.

In the end it is all about the juniors enjoying the game for all the right reasons.
All the best to these new clubs lets remember one thing THE JUNIORS not the almighty dollar.

Lets get as many juniors playing this wonderful game we all love.
