 I heard that the ffsa keep an unoficial ladder for the 11s, & that's how they come up with which 12s make it to the A's - so much for "development over winning"

If you want to know how the U11's are going, just ask a parent. I'm sure they'll be able to tell you - probably including goal difference.

they keep a table at Under 11 so that they can fairly divide up the teams for the following year. it's no fun for a team to get thrashed each week when they are put in the A's when they should be in the B's or C's. Olympic in the 12 A's shouldn't be there this year (or NAB)..they are both getting hammered each week.

I didn't mean it that way. These kids are just kids after all. They haven't developed yet, or might never be soccer players, but they should be in a league where they are having fun, and it is competitive for them. They can only get better....

There's no garantee that the top under 11 team will be the same team that goes into the under 12s :?

if everyone was serious about mass development of players there'd be f all competition at this age group  how many coaches under pressure to finish in the top half :?: how they going to do that :?: concentrate on development or winning :?: ffsa - wake up & smell the coffee
