man utd was not performing very well in the first few games as a team so i dont believe anderson should be judged by his first few matches. The only reason he was judged because he is a new signing paid alot for him so everyone expects instant results. If the team is not playing well dont expect anderson to play well. But i have to give credit to man utd for getting results despites a shortage of form. This is a value of a winning team. They are well on track again thanks to this.ronaldo07 wrote:IMO he's waste of money at 1st bcos he has been dissapointing for the 1st few matches i watch him play ...
but until the game against wigan, i start to like this guy more ..
i hope he can prove me wrong !!!!!!!!!!!
yeh ppl always said give shevchenko time, he'll be back .. but it's already too much time we given to him, how long u still need it ??CFC10 wrote:No matter what he does he can't be more of a waste of money than Shevchenko was![]()
All signs say he wont be a flop though. I would already rate him higher than Carrick.
as for joe cole .. what happened to him ? has been very dissapointing considering im having him in my fabtasy team
yes very good player and looked very good when he came on and look a very good play to replace Scholes

I was totally amazed at his passing and set up the goal for tevez. This kid only 19 is going to be a gun!
His ability to pass the through ball, and owning the centre of midfield was outstanding. Ok, it was against Wigan, but he really impressed me.
How funny was it when the commentator mentioned the Man U injury bench. They can field an alite team with their injured squad!

I gave up on Shevchenko ages ago. If he can prove me wrong so be it but IMO we should just cut our losses.ronaldo07 wrote:yeh ppl always said give shevchenko time, he'll be back .. but it's already too much time we given to him, how long u still need it ??CFC10 wrote:No matter what he does he can't be more of a waste of money than Shevchenko was![]()

You must be kidding about Joe, he's been playing some good football since returning to the starting 11. Fantasy football only really reward midfielders and forwards if they score or assist directly in the scoring of a goal so it can be misleading sometimes.

I suppose Veron, Van Nistelrooy, Rio Ferdinand, VDS were all products of SAF buying young players and bringin them up?!?!
Been alot smarter in the buying department have ManUSA in recent times, but you talk as if they are the ones who started buying young players... it was a matter of fact Assnal who started buying up young players for relatively large sums of money!

every team does that !!!!!!!!LFTWNG11 wrote:short-term memory?!?!MUFCBOY wrote:we spend money on young players and bring em up eg rooney, ronaldo... chelsea jst buys for instant success

I recall us winning the league back to back for memory! Us buying our way to success? Who hasn't? We bought players to establish ourselves & have also invested heavily in a new academy & training facilities that are second to none & also invested in even younger players than Rooney, Ronaldo, nani, Anderson, fabrigas & all the other Arsenal youngsters. So in a few years you will these investments coming through the ranks.Mighty Ger! wrote:and they still cant win itMUFCBOY wrote:we spend money on young players and bring em up eg rooney, ronaldo... chelsea jst buys for instant success

i think what they are trying to say is, Chelsea used to be spend quite a bit, a bit like Tottenham but never got success. Once they started spending over 70 million per transfer window that's when you guys had some success. Wenger has spent less in 11 years than you guys spent at the end of the 03/04 seasonstrappineastie wrote:I recall us winning the league back to back for memory! Us buying our way to success? as i always said, manutd and arsenal play some breathtakig football ... chelski has been boring except for the season when they just signed robben and he play superbly and fantastic to watch altho he dive occasionally ... liverpool is a bit like chelski ... and i must said spurs play some breathtaking attacking football as well except that their defence is suck !!Thryle 7 wrote:i hate arsenal but shiraz they're doing some good things down at the emirates.
i hope for footballs sake it continues because they are pretty good to watch.
