I found it strange that there was no trophy for the winner. Especially when the Amateur League knew that the game determined the champion.
Other then that Stirling deserved the win, they looked like they wanted it more and got it.
Well done Stirling boys!!!!!!!

Yeh, well done to the boys from Stirling - they defintely didn't do it easy, but were good enough on the day (when it counted).
It was a good game for all the supporters that came out to watch, both clubs have had a great year and I can't wait for next season to do it all over again

Yes that would be strange considering the match would determine the title. Other clubs had no game so the champions from last year could have been there to hand it over (although I'm not sure who won it last year).redders wrote:ROBBO wrote:Just heard Stirling won 1-0 - OFFICIAL

Well done Stirling boys!!!!!!!
Isnt it funny that the people who accuse teams of whinging are infact the biggest whingers themselves?
Laney, you are clearly a spineless jellyfish and an uneducated misfit from Modbury who has nothing intelligent to say, and along with the rest of the Modbury mob of imbeciles, has to resort to racial slander..
Grow some balls mate and say it to someones face rather than hiding behind a computer!!

I don't believe there is a trophy. League champions for all divisions receive their plaque and medals at the Presentation (see other topic on this forum for venue, time...).Bodø Glimt wrote:Yes that would be strange considering the match would determine the title. Congratulations to Stirling for their Championship victory.. Well deserved on the day.. A good bunch of guys and a good team who play good football..
They also have good supporters who are there to watch the game and support their side, not consume excessive amounts of alcohol and marijuana or scream abuse at players and officials like some clubs promote and practice...

Go back to the collegiate league if all you can do is complain about supporters as your club has no supporters thats why you whinge on forums. The Roo wrote: They also have good supporters who are there to watch the game and support their side, not consume excessive amounts of alcohol and marijuana or scream abuse at players and officials like some clubs promote and practice...
In regards to the Jets Vs Wanderers game its interesting that your lot has gone quiet after the league got the facts(not drivel posted on a forum) and what happened? the Jets got the points and no futher action was taken as the report said that the incident was incited by a Wanderers player

If you can actually read, the refs report said no such thing.
Wanderers never expected any points, but to not sanction Modbury for having one of their spectators bif a player, completely flew in the face of their "tough" stance on player/crowd behaviour. I wonder what your captain got for king hitting a player from behind… one week?
Funny that you never seem to mention the games between Wanderers and Modbury that actually lasted the full 90, is that because you got pantsed A’s and B’s?
Gabon you and your mate Laney are morons. Before you go on about not hiding behind a screen, feel free to chat to me about it next year, the boys at your club know who I am.

Thats right Nico i got one week and make sure you ask Joey if i king hit him as i never have and never will throw a punch on the park.

Modbury as a club and the players in the first team would be pretty disappointed in both their "captain" and their supporters, for spoiling what was a really good effort from the players on the park.
Firstly to punch someone from behind for a tackle, while yes it deserved to have a free kick awarded, was not malicious in any way nor did it cause the player any injury, is not on. Especially from the club captain.
Wanderers have dealt with the Jets a fair bit this year re: arranging a catch up game and result swapping on a Saturday afternoon and found their committee a good bunch of lads.
It was me who you dealt with in regards to organisng the catch up game
Happy to chat with you Nico as you know me too and i look forward to catching up for that chat
