2 points lost for me today. Ball wouldn't go in at the end. Good performance though but I wish the ball would just go in though

Re: Liverpool 2011/12
Outplayed City. Should have won.

We deserved that luck. Unlucky not to score again. Lol at a Chelsea supporter pointing out that our goal included a lucky deflection. At least 30% of lampards goals have been deflected in. Out defense looks better without carra. We had a few shakey moments at the back but still looked very good. Agger is a beast and Lucas is top 3 DM in the league

Re: Liverpool 2011/12
Another wasteful display infront of goals. But you’d take it knowing that’s a point your rivals are unlikely to get.
Still, 13 games in we’ve only been outplayed by Spurs (undefeated in 10 since then). Last 4 home games have been frustrating. I think there’ll be an unsuspecting team that’ll cop 5 or 6 soon.
Bellamy might have nicked us all 3 and had a point to prove but obv his head wasn’t in the right place.
Good run of 5 games up next should keep unbeaten run going, just need to hit the back of the net FFS!!

Lucas was outstanding, even for him. Best performance from a midfielder that I've seen in a long, long time.totsreds08 wrote:We deserved that luck. Unlucky not to score again. Does anyone know if Pool are playing with their full team?

Re: Liverpool 2011/12
I'd expect Carroll, Carragher, Maxi and Kelly to at least start.
I'd be surprised to see Suarez and Adam in the XI.
But we dont play till Mon night at Fulham, 6 day break. So it could be a full strength team.
Chavs back it up against away to Newcastle in the early game on Sat. Based on that I'd say we're less likely to field a weakened team.

Brilliant performance. He may not be the fastest player going around but he is so sharp and always manages to get the ball off of the player trying to
Dribble him. Future captain?!

December is a huge month for us.
Carling cup, Newcastle, City, Tottenham and Valencia.
It'll be interesting to see what the lineups are for those big games coming up.

Re: Liverpool 2011/12
Roberto Mancini pointed the finger at Liverpool players as he accused them of getting Mario Balotelli sent off.
The Italian striker angrily kicked the dressing-room door after he received the third red card of his Manchester City career in Sunday's 1-1 draw at Anfield. And Mancini said: 'It is not a correct decision. Mario did not deserve the second yellow card. Every time Mario does something, other players provoke him.'
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish, however, insisted Balotelli had only himself to blame, as the Barclays Premier League leaders were held for only the second time this season. Dalgish said: 'The reaction of our players? I think Balotelli got himself sent-off. His actions spoke louder than anyone else, didn't they? Sometimes when you look in the mirror, you get the answer.'
Balotelli, 21, was booked twice in seven minutes. The first was for a needless pull back on Glen Johnson, but the second came after he clumsily collided with Martin Skrtel. Mancini claimed referee Martin Atkinson was influenced by Skrtel's reaction.
He said: 'Mario moved his arm and Skrtel reacted like a young player. I don't think it was good. The referee gave the free-kick but he didn't want to give the yellow card.
'When the Liverpool players saw this, they went there and said "Yellow card! Yellow card!" Mario should pay attention because he knows many players provoke him.
Crowding around: Agger (centre) and Adam (right) let their feelings known after the Italian clashed with Skrtel (left)
'This is not correct.' It was confirmed Balotelli had not put a hole in the dressing room door as they have long-since been reinforced with two-inch Perspex.
Mancini continued: 'I am disappointed with him for the first yellow card but not for the second. He did not deserve it. The last three months Mario has played well and scored a lot of goals.'
Not surprisingly, Dalglish took a different stance. 'Sometimes he doesn't help himself,' he said. 'If you help yourself, you don't get in that position. I don't think our boys did anything.'
Liverpool were the better side in an entertaining game and but for an inspired display from goalkeeper Joe Hart, they would have had more to show than a point after Joleon Lescott's 33rd-minute own goal cancelled out Vincent Kompany's headed opener.
Sympathy: Mancini defended his striker
'Joe saved an import ant point,' said Mancini. 'We played five days ago in Naples. There was a difference between us. Liverpool had freshness. We were not 100 per cent.
'We tried to win but it is not easy. Liverpool are a good team.'
Hart said: 'We came here last year and got tonked. This was a big game and we are happy.'
Dalglish sent Craig Bellamy home to grieve following Gary Speed's sudden death. Dalglish, who signed Speed for Newcastle in 1998, said: 'Gary was a fantastic player but, more importantly, he was a decent fella.
'He was like a mentor to Bellers.
'Bellers was upset and I took the decision to leave him out. There are more important things than playing a football match.'

Re: Liverpool 2011/12
And I suppose mancini didn't notice his players asking for Liverpool players to get booked, aguero in particular. Mario didnt need to raise his arms. His feet were grounded but his arms were raised and he should know he can't do that. His own problem
