Has anyone heard when the trials for STIC are going to be held? or who the coaches are?

dont be silly, its only girls, its way down the list of importantance. Stic director should have his arse kicked for so being so late, they wouldnt do this for the boys, just shows where the priortiy is. How can they expect coaches to teach and work with the girls, extremely poor.

Yes it is very unfortunate that the organisation of girls STIC has been left so late. I did hear last night that successful coach applicants were notified via email yesterday and that trials will start next week.

Confirmed today, coaches have been notified.
Clubs will be sent details of coaches and training to pass on today or tomorrow.
Only three weeks to select and train a team, should prove interesting.
The goalkeeper is the jewel in the crown and getting at him should be almost impossible. It's the biggest sin in football to make him do any work.

One of the best coaches going around in the State league didn't get a team because the FFSA lost his application. He has had great success in the past with STIC teams, you would have thought the FFSA coaching mob would have rung and asked why they hadn't got his application.

Good to see a few premier league coaches getting involved!

Some the the zoning seems to have changed, - Previous Western Zones are now Northern zones ?
Anyone know why ?

I'm guessing that since the age groups have changed, with U13 and U14 only having one birth-year each, that they had to consolidate in order to get enough players- just a guess though.
