Agreed that Nuggett has no credibility on this issue, but all your knocking of Nuggett doesn't trick us into forgetting that what happened was way out of line and that you've all been trying to pretend it's nothing, make excuses and blame others.

Nuggett would be better served keeping quiet at this point.
And the clowns trying to say it's nothing should instead be coming on here apologising unreservedly on behalf of their club who dragged the good name of our league further into the gutter.

PONTIAN wrote:seriously this is getting out of hand. Whos the mug that said that crap to the messenger. "we will bash them after the game". Its a lot of crap I can tell you that. Yelling out to the ref and threatening to bash people are 2 different things. Calling the ref a F wit and stuff like that is not threatening to bash him. He should take more time in learning how to ref the game consistantly for both sides than to listening to people slag him on the sideline.

Hipp, Hipp, Horay somebody finally gets it, I just want to see these people say, you know what it wasn't the Referee's fault that he got abused, & it wasn't his fault the game got abandoned.Nuggett would be better served keeping quiet at this point. Sorry otto I just can't...

BPBC say's it all here & this is why I wont let it go,
BPBC wrote:Fuck me dead. So the ref asked a Pontion official to calm the spectator down, the Pontion official instead abused the ref

"• Wear the Identifying Vest and officials ID as provided by the SAASL
• Respect the decisions of the match official and encourage others to do the same"

He didnt, ref made the call to stop game. End of story. 25 fucking pages of excuses later the fact remains the official didnt do his job. Bad ref or not, its a breach of rules.
We all make mistakes, man up and take responsibility for them, dont try and shift the blame

The big problem is that we have rules & punishments if those rules are broken, but they are just not enforced.
Read them they are our Association Rules.

(f) Where the conduct of spectators, players, coaches or club officials is found to have
seriously breached the league championship rules, the relevant codes of conduct, the
principles of fair play / fair conduct, or having brought the game into disrepute, the
League will determine the disciplinary action to be taken against the clubs involved.
(i) at the sole discretion and determination of the Management Committee, one (or
more) of the following sanctions may be imposed:
(1) deduction of championship points - (deducted points will carry over to the
following season)
(2) suspension from a certain number of fixtures
(3) suspension for remainder of season
(4) fines and/or bonds of good behaviour
