What do you expect from the Fener scum.Almost 60 people, including the chairman of Fenerbahce, have been detained in Turkey as part of a match-fixing investigation.

Re: Fenerbahce 2010/11 CHAMPIONS
This is why we claim that we're the BIGGEST ;)
lol @ the rumoured allegations. I hope we're found guilty it'd be an honour not to participate in such a league. Even if we aren't to be found guilty what difference does it make? One wonders what would've happened if we weren't champs.
Some of the rumours are;
we paid a player, Musa Aydin, to fix the game vs Buca. Oh how he fixed the game, he was their best player on the day with a goal and an assist, apparently their evidence of him rigging the game is when he missed a ''one on one with our keeper''
1.19 sec
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQN5IgAQjQo
Another rumour how we fixed this game was a phone call between two Fener board members at half time when one quotes ''what the hell! we're 2-1 down to this pathetic team??, the other responds, don't worry go have a beer or two, we've got thus game''
Apparently the keeper could've saved this first goal, going at 150 km/h, but instead he decided to twitch his hand backwards
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44UxT3F9dUM
Ofcourse there's match-fixing going on in the league, wether we've done it ourselves or not, if they did and found guilty they should pay the price but at the end of the day all this match-fixing crap is political, starting by a sore loser Trabzon politician.
Instead of trying to dig deep deep down, the federation should ban everyone (president of clubs, players and coaches) whom wished that Trabzon would win the league.
At the end of the day.... We FARKED Turkey and are champions babyy, 18 TIMES!!!

Re: Fenerbahce 2010/11 CHAMPIONS
I also forgot to mention, if we are found guilty the federation won't have the balls to relegate us. We're too big to be relegated in Turkey. We're basically a 51% to %49 ratio in this league alone.
Why I say that is because the pay-tv channel only brought the 300m euro rights (5th highest boradcasting rights in the world) only because we agreed to participate in the revenue pool.
If we're to pull out, they'd lose much more than what they're already losing and cancel the broadcasting.
At most if we're found guilty (%99,9 we would be found not guilty) we'd get a points deducted.
After all these investigations I got a feeling Giresunspor would be the ones to pay the big fine and demoted to the 3rd div.
Also gotta add that it's a shame that they mentioned all these teams and not Ankaragucu, who sell games left and right.

Re: Fenerbahce 2010/11 CHAMPIONS
Not found guilty of an Article 6 violation (relating to match fixing) but Article 1 violations (unsportsmanlike conduct, which can be anything from swearing on the pitch to excessively calling Bergamo and Pairetto [referee designators]). It was esentially under the suspicion there could be match fixing because of an exclusive relationship with referees.God is an Englishman wrote:not found guilty but relegated, how did that happen?
However, Moggi has proven with new wiretaps that Juventus did not have an exclusive relationship, with all clubs speaking to the designators, because that is what they were told to do - keep the talking open, so there would be no suspicion.
It also helps getting a team relegated when they are not allowed to present evidence such as video footage (basically Juve were told a verdict had to be reached quickly because UEFA wanted to know who Italy's representatives would be for European competitions). It also helps when there is evidence tampering, and the person in charge of the evidence has been found guilty in the past of that exact crime. It also helps when the head of the case is friends with all the Inter head honchos and was previously on the board.
Inter board member Tronchetta Provera (also works with Telecom, who gave the wiretaps) has admitted that Telecom were spying on people involved in Italian football on behalf of the club.

Re: Fenerbahce 2010/11 CHAMPIONS
so, in a litigious society such as UEFA and all the money at stake why did juventus just accept the decision.
Surely, they should have taken it all the way to the court for the arbitration in sport.

I'll just quote the wikipedia article on the matter -God is an Englishman wrote:so, in a litigious society such as UEFA and all the money at stake why did juventus just accept the decision.
Surely, they should have taken it all the way to the court for the arbitration in sport.
Juventus originally announced that they planned to appeal the punishment to the Italian civil courts, an action that would have brought further punishment to the clubs and the FIGC by FIFA. FIFA has historically taken a dim view to government involvement in football administration. Earlier in 2006, FIFA briefly suspended the Hellenic Football Federation due to draft Greek legislation that would have allowed for government supervision of football. FIFA announced that it had the option to suspend the FIGC, thus barring all Italian clubs from international play, if Juventus went to court.[11] The hearing was scheduled for 1 September. Juventus, however, dropped its appeal before the Lazio Regional Administrative Court (TAR in Italian) on 31 August, the day before it was to be heard. Juve officials cited the "willingness shown by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) to review its case during (CONI's) arbitration."[12]

There was pressure from up high to drop any case - the season was already delayed to the second week of September and would have been pushed back further had anything proceeded. Then you have all the sponsors, tv, etc pissed off about that.

Still no evidence, still no nothing
Turkish Federation stated that ''they've got no evidence, only rumours'' Oh not to forget the other thing they've got is photo's of men wearing black suits and holding suitcases.

Re: Fenerbahce 2010/11 CHAMPIONS
IF there was any match-fixing we should de demoted but don't forget it takes two sides to fix a game if it involves a ''win'' outcome, to lose is easy, but to win, as I said you need to bribe the other team to play weak and lose. ;)
All I want to see is that evidence of video/audio footages to prove that it was our board members actually paying out others to fix games. And if they did fix games, they should be punished the most possible way. Unfortunate for FENERBAHCE that because of these moron's it's the club and 30 million people paying the price.

Trabzonspor president and Bursaspor ex-president also arrested, about time. But i'm pretty sure they'll release them asap, just making it look like they're actually making investigations were it's obvious that they aren't

Besiktas board member and coach have also been arrested. Rumour is that they bribed their ex-footballer Ibrahim Akin in the Cup final who was also arrested the other day.God is an Englishman wrote:What do you expect from the Fener scum.Almost 60 people, including the chairman of Fenerbahce, have been detained in Turkey as part of a match-fixing investigation.
GO BESIKTAS!!
To add to it, the federation yesterday gave a statement saying that there are other teams involved in match-fixing but those teams names haven't been mentioned yet. I'm guessing this was what they were talking about.
I really doubt Besiktas coach Tayfur Havutcu would do such a thing or even knew anything about it, but I guess if this rumour is true and that they're found guilty this is actually worse than our situation. Atleast our coach nor any of our players knew or was involved with match-fixing.

Anyway, besiktas wouldn't do such a thing. They're a great family club with a proud tradition in european football not like your lot who shouldn't even be allowed to play in european competitions.

Just goes to show how much you know. Family club? I think you're mixing things up buddy. If there's any ''family club'' in Turkey they're both Fenerbahce and Trabzon. And I don't understand what proud reputation Besiktas have in European football, first time they get to see some February european football action last year in over 8 years and get thumped 8-1 on agg and yet they still whine about Dynamo Kiev playing ''anti/defensive football''God is an Englishman wrote:bribery is bribery, doesn't matter whether it's the coach, the players or the president.
