As an observer, it was a tight game that befitted a top of the table clash from 2 of the top 3 teams in the league on a day challenged by the weather. It was a competitive (but clean affair) from 2 teams that are desperate to stay at the top of the league.

Anyone who thinks differently has NFI.

As a benchwarmer for that match (that got a few minutes on the pitch, and played 60 mins in the B's), I couldn't agree more.
I'd say both the A's and B's games were played in good spirits. Both our teams (Vipers) got outplayed on saturday, fair and square.
Which was unfortunate for us, as we are looking to get both our squads up the ladder, after coming off some good form in the last month

I can honestly say that I haven't felt this sore after a game for a long time. Uni certainly pushed hard all game - I think not many of the 20 field players had much left in the tank by the end!
After 2 games, a win to each team and a 2:2 aggregate score is a fair result.
The championship is far from sealed though. Over the last two weeks we have seen that all teams can take points off each other. Vipers v Hawks and Uni v Hawks will be massive games.
