Re: June long Weekend
This is a good point, it seems the cup round 3 is missing on the schedule, we skip from round 2 to 1/4 finals, is this weekend round 3 of the cup?

Some people tell me that we professional players are soccer slaves. Well, if this is slavery, give me a life sentence.

It's not SAPSASA - It's SAJSA.stiring the porridge wrote:so what comes first, sapsasa or club? considering both are scheduled at once.
If you have a cup game scheduled then I'm sure it's club. Not sure how many club palyers will be affected. It's mainly NWJS and Noarlunga Associations that would have players playing both.

Ask your club.RIDER wrote:why is it that we have just been notified of this now what about all the people

Junior delegates were informed about six weeks ago about the cup round for U12-U15 and revised calendar was issued.
SAJSA Championships have been on the calendar for this weekend since early in the year.
(And no, I'm not from the FFSA, I just bother to read my e-mails)

I'll lose it with whoever I like especially if they come on here whingeing about their own shortcomings.RIDER wrote:well i have spoken to a few clubs and they werent aware of it until this week,so dont lose your cabernet

Clubs were sent an e-mail on 15 April with revised calendar attached which clearly shows cup round for U12s-U15s scheduled for the long weekend.
I imagine these are some of the breakaway clubs that think they can organise things better than the FFSA, but can't even read a simple e-mail or open an attachment.
What a laugh

FFSA email wrote:A number of teams have players playing in the JSA tournament which is scheduled for the same weekend and have requested for their fixtures to be postponed. The clubs involved in postponed fixtures must find a mutually agreed time to play their Round 3 Cup fixtures. If clubs cannot find a suitable venue to host the postponed matches Football Federation can assist.

if its not under the ffsa umbrella what relevance does it have, club must come first surely.I'm confused wrote:It's not SAPSASA - It's SAJSA.stiring the porridge wrote:so what comes first, sapsasa or club? considering both are scheduled at once.

SAJSA is under FFSA umbrella and from FFSA e-mail quoted it is clear that in this case SAJSA championship has priority.blue moon wrote: if its not under the ffsa umbrella what relevance does it have, club must come first surely.
