we will qualify for the WC, depends on the group we get on how gaf we will get, if we get a group of death then we have no hope. hopefully we get a cruisy group and avoid brazil, germany, argentina or Netherlands.
still 3 yrs away :(

i thought they played very well in qatar, making the final in tough conditions with a weakened squad due to injury, not a bad effort

played better than germany in the second half

the conditions weren't tough. they played on excellent pitches, had nice accommodation and Qatar in winter is perfect weather

I only saw three games live so can only comment on three.

Conditions for the third group game were abysmal. Not sure if the pitch had adequate drainage. At some points could hardly see in the rain.

Conditions for the semi final (6-0 domination) and final (loss in ET) were perfect.

Will be a very new look team. Assuming we get to Brazil, cant see us getting past the last 16.

2018 in Russia however could be a more realistic chance of getting to the quarters and maybe beyond.

To Brazil.
Somebody one asked if I could spare some change for gas, I could really get away from this place.
I said yep, what a concept! I could use a little fuel myself and we could all use a little change.

depends which players become Socceroos regulars, who retires, who our qualification is up against and who is in our WC group (if we even make it). Anything is possible...
