No worries n8, I think your comment is a bit lop sided. I knew after you made comment about the balls and the pitch that you were the keeper at the Hawks. I tell ya what, you might have had a problem with the pitch and the ball, but your keeper in the b's and c's (played two games) played out of his skin. He had no problem with either. But on the other hand, your a different matter. Balls bobbing up is one thing, but to have not been able to even catch a free- kick that went straight to your chest is a concern, then another that went under you at 3 km/h is yet another concern. Ma Hawks are a great side and will be hard to beat, but if you keep playing like that, your going to cost your team a few points this year. I say, bring in the B's keeper!!!

Anyway, other results are:

Must say that the MA Hawks have a very good outfit and are well- drilled. Team to be reckoned with this year( just need a new keeper). Good bunch of guys!! Cheney, Jim Chousis and co still got it. As for our boys, a very gallant, hard- fought performance played with the real Cougar spirit! Very proud. And with 3 big inclusions for next week, things aren't looking too bad. Good luck to the Hawks in their quest for promotion this year. Think they will come close.

Notice how Lion said nothing into the lead up, there is a reason for this as your guys would know after today our bs were missing five players and our as 4 , no excuse you guys were beter on the day, lets say its early days and I say we will improve and the Comets will be up there so lets see what happens over 18 rounds not 1, beware of the wounded LION !!!!!

I'm first to admit I didn't have a great game and was probably the only reason u guys even seemed a slim chance...but that's football everyone makes mistakes u move on take the 3 points which is the main thing and hit the training track harder. That's it goodluck hope ur 3 new players serve u well for next week against titans u will need it

Yep got the points but were a bit thin in B's (players having to step up to A's)because of players not being able to make the trip.

Great win for Frank and his boys playing attractive passing soccer.

Breakers have a great deck to play on, like a billiard table, no excuse for any side visiting them to hoof it long.

Uni is headed down to Breakers on 30 April. We're considering getting a bus for everyone to head down there together, support and play the games, and then have a few coldies on the way back. Anyone have a recommendation as to who which bus company would be best for something like this? Would have to be licenced.

Surely some of the other teams must have done this, or the Breakers may be able to help with a suggestion. I figure there is no need to reinvent the wheel here, and your recommendations may save me a few phone calls. Thanks in advance.

Have booked a 48 seater bus for the lads who are travelling there on the 21st of May. Worked out to about $35 per head up and back providing 48 people were travelling. Call ADELAIDE COACHLINES based at Edwardstown I think.
PS- We are staying there overnight, so that figure might be different for you guys if you are heading home on the same day. Good luck!
