spot on forget about any serious development from FFSA the FFA may take some of the load but not much we're heading back to the good old bad days on junior football here's an idea all breakaway clubs can not have a junior set up NO juniors

You tell us!
From your comments in the other forum you think getting rid of the FFSA is such a good idea - your mates on the Adelaide City Committee must have explained to you how it will work before they decided to proceed with the breakaway league proposal.

DR NOT SO FEELGOOD
Will this affect you're job at ffsa.
1/ elite players will leave the 'breakaway' clubs and stay with 'FFSA' clubs to be able to part of STIC and State rep teams
OR
2/ 'Breakaway' clubs should still be able to field teams in FFSA JSL, just like Beverly, Munno Para, Sturt, Plympton who don't have seniors, and hence, still be able to be a part of FFSA development programs, Man Utd Cup etc....

Hey mate the Doc's always feeling good
I have no connection with the FFSA, other than my son playing in an FFSA sanctioned competition.
Nice try at avoiding the original question though.
Why are you asking on here what the likely impact of a breakaway league (which you seem to think is a great idea) will be on the junior skills programs?
Why not ask someone on your committee? They must have investigated the affect on the Juniors before deciding to go ahead with the breakaway league?

Does anybody out there in football land know what the ramifications are in relation to the breakaway clubs and if there juniors are playing in the JPL or JSL. I think its about time some of the movers in this saga let us parents know. I've heard that as they are no longer under the umbrella of FFSA (no teams in the senior mens comp) the breakaway clubs can't have teams in the JPL, acording to the constitution of the FFSA. If this is the case are these clubs going to allow parents and players to leave their clubs with full refunds so they can go to an affiliated club? All these parents signed up thinking their child was going to play in the JPL now there is a real chance that they won't. Big can of worms here me thinks

I think what will happen is that the JPL/JSL structure wont change this year - purely due to the logistical nightmare so close to the season. but what will definately happen i think is that season 2012 wont have any JPL teams from senior clubs in the breakaway. further to that, the state and skills programs probably wont have kids from non affiliated clubs. who knows really. ask your club what their position is on juniors, if you are talking to the same people that run the seniors, chances are, they are not too interested, or will give you a bit of a 'it will be alright' answer. interesting times ahead for sure, lets just make sure the kids learn to play some good football and have some fun irrespective of the league they are in!
Thanks incognito, the lads club is staying with the FFSA one of the few it seems from S/L was more wondering if the JPL would still have the breakaway clubs in it, it wouldnt be a great comp with only 4 or 5 clubs participating in A division or would they combine A & B???? who knows.
6, to your answer about the constitution, yes I have seen it and probably do have a copy somewhere in the saved files of my computer along with heat policy doc's, old club directories etc etc.

When and if it happens (breakaway clubs put into the JSL, or if their heirachy pull them out of FFSA altogether and put them in E&D) there will be a lot of club 'hopping' I think .......
Take out the money from the juniors wont be an argument about clubs being able to afford to run because they wont, Adelaide City div 6 amateur league now that's gold
Think the EGO's should get their A Holes into gear and work it out properly for 2012 not 2011 - There are a lot of kids looking forward to the start of the season ..which is only a week and a half away!!! and for the parents of EGO teams would think that as signatured forms were submitted and payment made to play for a club in the JPL and and signatured forms for FFSA Registration then a contract of sorts has been formed for this to take place hope the EGO's will be ready to pay out the refunds ..!!!
E&D dont play small sided either I dont think so back to the backward old days for the younger ones if breakaway clubs link with them - If this all goes ahead can see more negatives than positives and its the kids who will be the ones who suffer ...but then the heads of a few of the clubs dont give a shiraz about the kids anyway only that they pay their fees to support the seniors!!!

how many of these clubs consulted their junior parents? I believe many refunds are on the way or many angry parents if these teams are sent to the JSL
Wonder how many lads we are going to lose to Aust rules football because of this shambles, heard a few rumblings already, some parents saying they want to leave their clubs if the break-away goes ahead and if they don’t get spots in other teams they are going to look at changing codes. Parents telling me its much, much cheaper aswell. What a waste, these parents have had no idea of what is going on and still dont!! some lads dont even know if they will be playing trial games this week.
The problem, as far as I am aware, will be whether or not FIFA recognise and saction the new break away league. If they do not, then all players playing in the unsactioned leagues (junior and senior) will be banned from participating in all FIFA sactioned events (state, national, institue teams/competitions). That will be the main reason for elite juniors to move clubs. It will come down to whether or not FFSA decide to allow the Juniors of B/A league teams to remain with their current Junior league affiliations, and be considered seperate entities to their senior club. But knowing the federation in both SASF and FFSA forms over the last 2 decades, I wouldn't put it past the board to say you take your seniors, then you can take your juniors.
