DOWNS 7-A-SIDE FINALS
Looking to be a great finals series. One of the best ever, and certainly a great comp this year.
I think all the teams are rightly placed as well, no real surprises, but it does make for some craker games to be played on Wednesdeay night.
Any Predictions of any upsets?

I think negus will be upset when he finds out he's dropped from the squad.Rexie wrote:Looking to be a great finals series. One of the best ever, and certainly a great comp this year.

yes i'm sure the bolthangars will be saying the same thing about the t/heads tomorrow morning after last weeks strategy to lay down. Come the finals, the heads are the masters of the mind games.KEANO16 wrote:Shite house performance by the Parkers tonight. Played Under the Influence in the normal rounds, beat them 8-1. Played em tonite, lost on penalties (after 1-1). Just goes to show finals are a different story all together!!!!!!

WOW. I would not have expected the parkens to go down.
Good to see the redbacks in after a different year from them, usually they are one of the teams to beat. Hope they can cause an upset tonight. Think they were the only team to really take it to the eagles, but as has been said, finals are a different story.
Goal of the tournament.....?
I would have to rate the cracker that Godders from the eagles got, just before they put him back in goals. Would have to be the best one Ive seen. Any others?
Cant wait till tonight though. Should be some nice, hot weather, good football, cant think of a better way to spend a hot summers night.

Sorry Old Redback but goal of the tournement for me is still Godders cracker two weeks ago. But only because yours was wind assisted. You are however my keeper of the tournament. Hands and heels above all others.
