WHAT WAS HE THINKING...could ruin his international career before it really starts
Some people tell me that we professional players are soccer slaves. Well, if this is slavery, give me a life sentence.

Attitude was there for all to see in the AFC U19 cup final.
Time for some righteous indignation

By the sounds of it he was still a 'kid' when these things were going on, his house detention probably explains why he hasn't featured much for his czech side.

At this stage these are only allegations that haven't been proven so the presumption of innnocence should be maintained. However should he be found to be guilty he should never be allowed to play for Australia again. This is the worst case of anti-social behaviour and he should be punished for it.

Fuck him, hope he does time and loses his career. Doesn't deserve it.

If you want to carry on like Muslim militant, do it in some other country.

Just his body language and general attitude towards his team mates - very arrogant as though he was the only one worthy of being out there. And that was in the 20 minutes I saw. Shame as also looks to have great potential.

Not the first or last person to play for Australia and be involved in gangs or the underworld

What does it matter if he is Muslim  , he is still Australian and might need some guidance, we help everyone else

Denmark had a high ranking Hells Angels member playing for them in the World Cup, so I think if they can play, then play em

 I got all the time in the world for Muslims. Hell, I've even got a muslim mate.

The difference is some of these mulisms (a very small minority) carry on like they're back in the middle east. Australia does not need this bullshit. Same goes with anyone that carries on like this whether they be muslim, German, emo, whatever.....

I'd be saying the exact same thing if it was a pack of neo nazi's running down rundle mall causing random bullshit.

Bet you'd feel differently if it was you that was stabbed....

Gang link sees soccer star Kerem Bulut lose bail
Katherine Danks From: The Daily Telegraph December 31, 2010 12:00AM

ONE of Australia's brightest soccer stars is part of a gang involved in attempted murder, kidnap, drugs and robberies, police alleged yesterday.
Kerem Bulut, 18, of Berala, who plays for the Young Socceroos, was refused bail in Parramatta Bail Court yesterday, after allegedly breaching a court-imposed curfew.

Bulut, whom police allege is a member of the gang MBM or Muslim Brotherhood Movement, is accused of breaching his bail conditions when he allegedly threatened to "smash" a man in Sydney's south west.

The curfew formed part of strict bail conditions which were set after Bulut was charged with five offences last month, including robbery in company and membership of a criminal group - MBM.

Police allege members of the MBM are involved in serious offences such as robbery, attempted murder and kidnapping. They have also been linked to numerous property and drug supply offences, police say.

Bulut is charged with breaching his curfew - which stipulates he must be at home between the hours of 8pm and 6am or be in the company of a parent - between December 29 at 11.10pm and December 30 at 1.31am.

Police went to his home after being told Bulut had threatened violence against a man in Lidcombe.

"The actions of [Bulut] are directly linked to previous crimes committed by members of MBM which involved the wounding of the same victims as the offences for which the accused is now charged," the court was told.

It's alleged Bulut and three other men were travelling in a black Toyota on Arthur Street in Lidcombe on Wednesday night at about 11.10pm. The victim was in a second vehicle and told police he Bulut staring at him when the cars both stopped at lights.

The victim told police he immediately recognised Bulut "from prior associations and dealings".

Police allegations tendered to the court say the victim asked Bulut how he was doing. Bulut replied: "I'll show you how I'm doing, pull over", and pointed to the side of the road.

The victim asked why he should pull over and Bulut said "I'll show you why, I need to talk to you."

The victim refused and Bulut allegedly yelled "Pull over, I'm going to smash you.".

Police say the car in which Bulut was a passenger followed the victim's car for some time.

The victim reported the incident to police, but when officers went to Bulut's parents house they did not find anyone at the home.

When they returned, Bulut told them he had been at home with his mother all night. His mother, meanwhile, told police she had been with her son at a friend's house in Glenwood, but could not offer a more specific address.

Bulut is awaiting trial on charges he, along with Ahmad Nahle, Rashid Ramadan and Ismail Hadife, all 18 of Auburn, plotted to intimidate two court witnesses.

The victims were to give evidence against the three co-accused in court, were robbed of their mobile phones and wallets at Bondi Beach on November 12.

On November 13, Bulut allegedly again confronted the men outside a nightclub in George St in the inner city

Nahle, Ramadan and Hadife and a 16-year-old boy also allegedly attacked the men with knives in a carpark in Auburn in September. The men suffered serious stab wounds.

Bulut was remanded to appear in Burwood Local Court via audio visual link in January.
