Difference being, its still a European trophy, not domestic....even if it may have been the smallest European trophy to win :?

Played exactly the way Wenger would have set out....take the game to your opposition. :D
Some dodgy tackles in this game. Including everybody fave DeJong.
Also Neville and Scholes, although the latter is having a fantastic start to this years league, are both hacks...Neville recieved his first yellow and should have recieved anither immediately after. And Scholes has just never been able to tackle.

Isn't this the third or fourth time Arsenal have been playing against 10 men this season?

Much as I hate the Goons, being realistic, we can't finish above them, but might finish above City, so an excellent result for us Spurs.

i reckon it would of been a different story if city had 11 men

but kudos to Arsenal

they actually helped us extend out lead at the top to 5pts

not denying, a great win for arsenal, 3nil away to city.
but like somebody said, hw many tmes have they won this season when the other team has been down to 10 men

wenger always complains about protection for HIS players, i think its playing on the refs mind
maybe he should look in his own backyard with wilshires tackles last weekn

Arsenal Set To Win Work Permit For Wellington

Arsenal are set to win a ‘Special Talent’ work visa for Brazilian forward Wellington Silva. It means the youngster will be available to join up with The Gunners from the 6th of January 2011.

Silva is currently preparing to fly to London for the third and final part of an adaptation period; a program set up by the club to make the transition from life in Brazil to England easier. Wellington leaves parent side Fluminense in frustrating circumstances with coach Muricy Ramalho freezing him out of first-team action.

Yet the end to his current nightmare is in sight. Silva is poised to be granted a special talent visa; a loophole allowing exceptional talent to move countries when they wouldn’t normally qualify for a work permit under conventional rules. Arsenal have previously exploited the rule, bringing both Alexandre Song and Denilson in via the same route.

The completion of the transfer in January will see Arsenal hand over the final payment of £850,000 for the remaining 25% of Silva’s ownership. It means the full transfer will have cost the club around £3.4 million.

It was actually quite refreshing to see a referee apply the LOTG from the first to last minute, with none of that 'too early to send him off' bullshit. Good performance from Clattenburg.
