Australia are facing pressure from Scotland in the international tug-of-war for Newcastle United midfielder Brad Inman.
Dithering Australia officials risk losing Inman to the Scots, where Scotland U21 boss Billy Stark has confirmed they see the Adelaide-raised youngster as a future cornerstone of the full national team.
Stark has named Inman in his squad for their looming friendly against Sweden.
He said: “Under the new Fifa regulations, players can change their allegiances as long as they haven’t played at full international level. Brad has been with the squad before and hopefully he had an enjoyable experience.”
Inman is tipped to make his Premiership debut with Newcastle this coming season.

Up to the FFA to secure him if they really want him that bad. It's not like this seals his future.

Was talking about him just last week.
Hopefully the new coach can lock a few kids in. Or at least speak to them.

Would like to see him in an Australian shirt... but as long as he wears the Newcastle shirt for alot of his career i'll be happy

Re: Inman to Scotland
Shame to see him miss out on the Carling Cup fixture the other day, perfect chance for him to have a run with the seniors... Interesting that Scotland sees him as the future of their national team, yet he cannot crack a game at Newcastle, maybe they can see the future. He is a great lad and I wish him well whichever way it falls...
Re: Inman to Scotland
im suprised he hasnt got a run yet... if he was really that good im sure he would have received a call up to the senior side... obviously doesnt warrant a call as yet.

he considers himself Scottish, I doubt if the call came from Australia that he would actually accept it
