nevertheless, well done celtic.
neva been confident with our penalty takers since ruuds gone...
hopefully torres can fix that up

shiraz celtic park went nuts, espn stayed with the crowd for about 5 mins of singing "you'll neva walk alone", and boy were they beltin it out, athmosphere was great
 He missed a penalty in the last minute to win the game against Lyon this morning!!!

must agree ruud is normally a good penalty taker.
why didnt scholes take the penalty, or rooney ? spose half the utd. team are capable of taking penalties like giggs, ronaldo, carrick, neville.
but im glad saha took it after all,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Are we 100% certainly through - if Benifca beat Man Utd and we lose won't Man Utd go above us on goal difference and Benfica and Man Utd go through?

So really if Benfica beat ManUSA, then it could be deja vu?? that would be harsh on ManUSA after winning their first three games!! if I was a manc i would be worried about the last game... but im not... I have no worries, Liverpool are through with 2 games spare, just sit back relax and see if we can finish first in the group

liverpool are gd in knockout comps, cause u dun need consistancy, thats y i believe they struggle in the league.

i thought giggs might of took the penalty or rooney.

will b a tough game, but a point will get us through

was a harsh way how we lost today i didn't think it was a free kick taking nothing away from nakamura that was a CRACKER but saha i just had the feeling he was gonna miss he really had the chance to score 2 goals including the one were he just stopped because he thought he ws offside but all credit to celtic they tried and got what they wanted

can someone just answer me a question how can celtic of already qualified if they have the same points as manu and manu have a better goal difference in the group?????? someone

If we both end up on same points it is down to the scores from the both games against each other and Celtic did better in those games.
with 2 away goals. so we can only come second at worse. so we are through

if u are on the same points as another team, then uefa get the results of both the games u have played and whoeva has the betta home and away record goes on top

we beat celtic 3-2 at OT, and the won 1-0
so its 3-3 aggregate with celtic havin the betta away goals, therefor they are top

only disappointing thing about mufc's european journey this season is that if the fall out of CL, they'll still be in uefa cup :(

then why ask for??

agree MUFCBOY, although I wouldn't say you dnt need consistency for the UCL, more so Liverpool can lift themselves for a UCL game say every 3 weeks (home and away) where as in the league they cant get themselves up everyweek, particularly away games!!!

Taking nothing away from Celtic, but its obivous ManUSA dnt have the depth to fight two fronts, where as Liverpool probably do more so, but I would say ManUSA has the better first 11 if you know what i mean?? Funny the contrast though, Liverpool cruise through UCL and the Mancs struggle.... Mancs kill the EPL and we cant even beat Boro away!!! That being said, I think ManUSA will exact harsh harsh revenge on Benfica next round to qualify
