went down to the downs today and they were brilliant. solid all over the park. could have scored ten easily. i would have to say they will be very hard to beat this year and were unlucky to lose last week.

wtf :?
Downs goals to Morrison (2), Cartwright (pen), Radford, Hughes, S Parisi and someone else -

Fulham goal to Fitton on the back stick i think... Down to ten men after 2nd yellow around 60 mins
3-1 at half time but could easily have been 2-2.

2nd half Downs the better side and when Fulham went down to 10 men it was when the goals started going in.

Best to get a result like that early because I can assure u Fulham wont be beaten like that again.

The boys will bounce back against Pontians this Friday night (game has been re-scheduled after both teams agreed to play on the Friday night so we could all have the long weekend off).

Being played at Olympics ground.

B's kick off 6.30 and A's 8.30.

I got permission from bert to gloat about the Farm game today.. but I wont

Florina certainly the better team in the first half, we scored against the run of play (well in Davey)

Jonesy grabbed a well worked goal from Cocksy, before Florina scored from a fine cross from the coach to trevor elliot.

Thought Farm shaded Florina second half, midfielders and defenders were all very good - you know who you are

Florina pushed forward in the last 10 and Farm this time we had Jonesy set up Cocksy. Nice goal lads !!

That made it 3-1 and that's how it finished.

Yeh Bodo, I didnt realize I was speaking to the "infamous" Bodo today - I was telling everyone 2-0 - but apparently the ref disallowed the goal i saw in the first half. Well in you ressies

C Team was fairly one way traffic, Farm comfortably ran away with it 6-0. Couple of our young lads impressing.

Lets not forget our new Ingle Farm girls team too, they earned their first point of the season with a 1-1 draw away at PHE, well done to the girls !! Congrats to Tim who continues to do a good job for the club, good onya mate.

Good crowd today and thanks to Florina who used the bar and BBQ, we really appreciate it.

Jamie Hart good seeing you today mate, seeya in the return.

Knights v's Gully

B's - knights 3 - 1 gully

Knights first half was a cracker. 3 goals from Tomo which were all well finished and deserved. Few guys that have really stepped up this season and its good to see us for once have a good team together. Well done lads.

A's - knights 5 - 1 gully

Knights to be honest had a awesome day today. Very hard for anyone to pick best players as everyone had a great game. Knights got the opening goal within 10minutes from there we had 3 by the break. Gully did not really seem the team they usually are when they play us. Simpson seems to be a huge loss for them at the moment. But not to down the Gully the knights players all played very well and should of nailed more then 5 by the whistle. Hopefully we will keep this effort up for the rest of the season. Good luck for gully for the rest of the season and hopefully the missing players in your team make a speedy recovery.

I wouldnt say the second goal was soft.... more like well finished.
He buried it from 30 yards overs 4 defenders runnig back covering the wandering keeper...
i thought it was a smart well taken goal not soft
andyb wrote:Vale vs Vikings

C's 0-5 ... Our boys started brightly and kept possession well but after about the 20min mark never looked in the game. Couldnt make a pass or a tackle. Although we never really troubled the Vikings keeper 5-0 was a bit flattering for Vikings. Great team to play against. The kind of honesty and attitudes you like to play against in a C grade game. Thanks to Vikings and good luck.

B's 3-2 ... Vale started this game flying. 2-0 up very quickly and looked like running away with it. Credit to Vikings they battled hard and got it back to 2-2 (the 2nd being a very soft goal with an error at the back during a corner) but Vale struck from a corner then held on for the points.

A's 1-1 ... A cracker from Vikings to go 1 up. Woulda been 25-30 yards out, one touch to set it and then burried off one step. Absolute gem! Either side of the goal Vikings didnt really create too many clear chances. Got into some good areas without looking particularly dangerous. Defence did enough though and it took a pin-point cross from Michael Miller on the right wing, Chris Nichols knocking in a pretty simple header from 8 yards out to level the scores. Vikings seemed happy with a point and invited pressure. Vale all over them for the last 20-25mins. Im sure the Vale lads wont be happy with 1 point!

won 2-1
Julian the ref Who is a Vale bloke once again ruined a good game, he has a thing agianst against the Grove, and today he proved it yet again. But the lads fought back to snatch a deserved win.

Vista's referee one of the fairest referees going around, trys so hard he usually ends up favouring the visiting team and leaving Vista frustrated, credit to him for doing a tough job to the best of his abillity, and 2 pens to Vista in 1 game, they don't get too many pens at home.

Would first like to thank Pirie on their hospitality and wish them good luck for the rest of the year.

Pirie 3 vs Bosna 4 A's

Pirie 5 vs Bosna 4 B's

Bosna dominated the first 45 min at Savoy park taking a 2 nil lead in the first 5 minutes. Pirie shortly after pulled on back from the penalty spot. Bosna went into the break 3-1 up with some outstanding football.

Pirie came out in the second half fired up and had the better of the seond half getting on the board in about 10 minutes Bosna went a man down and Pirie equalised. Bosna held their nerve and pulled out a win with a few minutes remaining. Great game to be involved in today some grat football was played.

B's Bosna went up 2 nil Pirie came back to 2-2. Only for Bosna to go up to 4-2 and Pirie with the come back to win it 5-4. Entertaining stuff Bosna wit 5 regular ressie players out great effort.

Pirie at full strength today might have been surprised at Bosnas technical play in the first 45mins. Well done boys many predicted a loss to day and relegation 4 us
