is Ognenovski worth a spot in the Socceroo's squad?

Post by Blotto »

I know he's pledged to Macedonia but is yet to play a game...

Surely he'd be a better option than an out of form Colosimo for a spot in the Socceroos squad.

Not saying he should be starting in South Africa, but surely with his form in Korea and in the ACL, and the lack of depth in aging socceroo defence he'd be worthy of a squad spot?

Pim's an idiot for not thinking he's good enough (even for the A League socceroo's games)

no, you're an idiot for thinking Og will play for Australia
he went to play in Korea because Macedonia wouldn't select him while he played for Adelaide

he won't do it, case closed

Leckie hasn't played for St Kitts and Nevis yet, does that mean he's going to?

But has St Kitts & Nevis selected him in a squad?

You said Macedonia wouldn't select him from Adelaide... well, Og moved clubs, and they still don't play him. If Pim selects him, I'm sure he's said yes.

You are more than welcome. I liked showing how wrong you were.

To recap:

You said Sasa was told he wouldn't play for Macedonia while playing for Adelaide, I showed you that he was selected while he was still at Adelaide.
You said he wasn't even selected for Macedonia, I showed you when he was.
You said Macedonia didn't even play that day, I showed you they did.

Are you now going to claim that Macedonia didn't even draw that game?

Have I missed anything? Are you sure you aren't Costa?

Gees grow up. The answer to the original question asked is YES. Don't understand Pims problem with Og. Og definitely wanted to play for Oz but Pim not interested.

definitely. i was very disappointed when he was told by verbeek that he would not be playing for socceroos because of his age

i think that anyone, despite their age, should be called into the team if they are in good form and not just pick players because of their high profile status. some of these high profile guys get stale because their spots are never in question and hence produce some complacent performances on the pitch.

would much rather have a hungry player who is willing to give his all to prove that he is good enough to play on the park
