Perth Glory marquee man Mile Sterjovski is set to leave the A-League club after receiving an offer to join Chinese Super League outfit Shandong Luneng on a loan deal.
Sterjovski, desperate to keep his World Cup dream alive, will weigh up the offer in the next 48 hours, with the deal to run from February 1 through to May 31.
Perth chief executive Paul Kelly confirmed Perth had received an offer for Sterjovski's services.
Sterjovski's teammate Chris Coyne flew to China to train with Shandong earlier this month but the fringe Socceroo failed to secure a deal.
Glory skipper Jacob Burns is still searching for a loan deal and there's a big prospect both he and Coyne may play out the season with Perth.
Glory currently sit fifth on the table, just one point adrift of fourth-placed Newcastle ahead of Sunday's clash with Central Coast.

Re: Sterjovski offered China deal
so i guess we'll see Mile at Hindmarsh during the ACL if he takes the offer.
Re: Sterjovski offered China deal
not much news on the Perth Glory trio as of late. Would appear that none of them have found a loan agreement overseas? no world cup for them either, which in all honesty, is probably a good thing for AUS.

only player from the 3 i'd pick is Sterjovski as an attacking option. Burns is overrated IMOreflex wrote:not much news on the Perth Glory trio as of late. Funny that.....One of, if not the best defensive midfielder this year in the A-league and also won the game off his own boot when Perth played Adel at Hindmarsh..... Performance yesterday against Welly was up there tooRed-4-Life wrote:only player from the 3 i'd pick is Sterjovski as an attacking option. I think Petrillo and Vidmar wish they could have their chance again

it is fairly simple to be honest. he is a good player for the a-league and nothing more. shouldn't make the world cup squad#Thirteen wrote:Is it as simple as that?? Not so sure......Chelsea4thewin wrote:get one thing straight, its the A-league
