Carle seeking China move
Socceroos midfielder Nick Carle is in China in the hope of securing a deal that will see him end his nightmare at English Championship side Crystal Palace.
Carle is discussing a loan move to Chinese Super League club Shaanxi Chanba in the hope of gaining more first team football in what is a World Cup year.
Palace manager Neil Warnock is not a fan of the 28-year-old, and has started him in just one game this season.
Warnock told local media in London: "Carle is in China having a look at the club to see if he wants to go there. He wants to play first team football with the World Cup coming up and we cannot offer him that right now."
Chanba is said to be willing to pay Palace in order to keep Carle in China until the end of 2010, a deal that would suit Palace well, given its dire financial situation.

not looking good for nick atm
not sure if id have him in the world cup squad to be honest, i cant see him getting the form he needs to be at his best. which would only be enough to possibly come of the bench late in a game and pick out a pass

Re: Carle seeking China move
Crystal Palace and Socceroos midfielder Nick Carle has rejected the opportunity to make a surprise move to Chinese Super League outfit Shaanxi Chanba.
The former Newcastle Jets star recently flew to China for talks over a possible switch, missing his side's 1-0 victory over Plymouth on January 17 (AEDT).
But Carle returned to the Palace squad for the FA Cup tie against Wolves on the weekend and was an unused substitute for the 2-2 draw at Molineux.
Palace manager Neil Warnock conceded that the proposed move had hit a snag, although an exit for Carle is still on the cards.
"At the moment there are some things in the contract which he and his agent didn't agree with so it was a non-starter.
"I think there will be a lot of interest in taking Nick on loan but we're just trying to get a permanent deal done," Warnock told the South London Press.

That is what the papers are saying, although he is no certainty to stay at Palace... they will be having a fire sale, 50 Quid transfers all this week... lolthe_gun wrote:i think he has turned down the move to china??
Re: Carle seeking China move
He might be better off staying at Palace.
Transfer window slams shut on Monday. Palace are running out of players so they may just be forced to play Carle!!
He might get a bit of game time in the run up to the World Cup - unless its personal between Carle and the Coach.
