futsal is too slack in SA, it needs better admin to give it any chance of competing against the likes of NSW we allow coaches to borrow players from other teams to win games & coaches to act like fools, screaming out every direction under the sun watched a coach with a english accent (i'm being nice;-) today that should have been reported for abuse he lost it at a player that in his words "that goal was your fault, you stuffed up" or something like that with a scream that scared the shits out of me standing on the other side of the pitch the is lucky it wasn't my nephew he screamed at

NSW has a proper league, with clubs and training etc. You'd think if they were serious we'd have one too wouldn't you?
I'm not saying that's an easy task, or bagging anyone who works at FFSA, all i'm saying is that we seem to have a complete lack of planning.. I mean the state team started training a month ago, so most of those guys have barely played together at all.
Litmanen, NSW do have premier and super youth league. But I can tell you that at least a quarter, maybe half the teams in it do not train. The games on Saturdays plaued in 12s, 14s, 16s, youth and mens though are are probably at least the standard of Nationals in the 12s, 14s, 16s age groups. The players that play 11s, 13s and 15s at Nationals find the Nationals alot weaker then the premier league age they play in Sydney.
In regards to state teams, 4 sessions on the Sundays before Xmas and 2 on the Sat and Sun before they go away is all the training NSW do.
Can I ask how long your comp games go for and the average number of players each side has?

Well that's good to know.
Not sure what you mean by your question exactly? are you asking where i play?
I mean like at the Nationals they are 20 minute halves with 4 subs and a sub keeper at high intensity the whole game. In premier league they are 20 minute halves and most teams have 5 players and 4 on the bench (no reserve keeper).
Most teams have 5+2, some have the min 5 others have up to 5 on the bench. Teams play 15min halves. U/18 & below are on the smaller courts with the U/23 on the larger court (about the same size as Menai/Dural in NSWPL).
Most U/23 players are 19-20, too old for the youth team so it is there to develope a mens team.
The top 4-6 teams in each age are generally very competitve & the standard is at that of at least super league, some may even be close to PL. There are some teams that so play for more social reasons.
Unfortunately SA cannot get our best players all to Nationals as the price can be prohobitive - about $1,300/player (airfares, transport, kits, meals, etc).
A number of players that go to nationals regularly play up one age group during the season to get the higher intensity for nationals.
Unfortunately the futsal club structure that is in NSW does not exist in SA & some football clubs place restrictions on their players playing futsal. Most competitions are run by the local centres & have no interest in joining the governing body.
Most "coaches" are parents who know little about football & even less about futsal. They just want their kids to have fun.
haha Raymond, Yes I am from NSW but I am not spying.
I was actually just wondering how Futsal is run in SA compared to NSW.
I was also just letting everybody know that NSW teams only have 5 or 6 training sessions. So im no NSW spy, more just wondering how the game is progressing outside of Sydney.
