Excellent results tonight. Goons and Chavs both got done

Blackburn to face Villa and a Manc derby to look forward to.

Always disappointing to lose but it is generally always a tough game at Blackburn & even more so when he plays an understrength team with eyes firmly fixed on the Man City game. Still a good effort from the boys with Cech, Terry, Carvalho, A.Cole, Lampard, Essien & Anelka not playing & then takes a gamble by making a triple substitution & it worked to begin with but went down to 10 men for about 20-25 mins of the game when Kalou went off injured. Good luck to Blackburn in the Semi's but my money is Villa winning it this year!

I actually think Man Shitty are the best bet for this. Ferguson will play young kids, whereas the money men want to win some kind of trophy this year so will probably stack the team.

The same kids who beat a full strength Tottenham outfit  I think Ferguson will add more experienced players in the semi's though after our loss on penalties in last seasons semi's.

Another trophy-less season for the Gunners. Unlucky!

Interesting thought. Just how do you propose to make that happen?

Doh!

what exactly does an under-strengthed Chelsea outfit look like? i see the players who were listed as having not, but who came in for them? i'd imagine they'd be players that wouldn't be good enough to make Blackburn's XI if that's the reason they were knocked out.

well maybe they havent played together as a team?

man city for example, you cant just throw together these superstar players and win everything straight away, takes time i guess

I agree, though it would be immense if United's youngsters beat City's first XI.
