Final chance to cheer on Lady Reds

Post by Red-4-Life »

Come and support Adelaide United’s Women’s Team as they have their final home game of the season this Saturday against Sydney FC Women.

For the most part, it has been another tough Westfield W-League campaign for the Lady Reds, but following their impressive 2-2 draw with last season’s champions Brisbane Roar in Brisbane, United’s Women are keyed up to go out with a bang in their final home game of the season.

Can the Lady Reds pull off another big result and score their first win of the season by beating the girls from Sydney?

Notably, Adelaide United Women’s last win in the Westfield W-League came against Sydney FC in Round 3 of last season, and the Lady Reds will be hoping history repeats on Saturday.

Gates open at 1.00pm with tickets available from the Holden Street ticket window on match day.

Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 concession, while AUFC 2009/10 members and kids under 15 are FREE.

Following the match against Sydney FC Women, the Lady Reds’ final match of the season will be against Canberra United in Canberra on December 5.

Go on, check out football with style with Adelaide United’s Women’s Team in the Westfield W-League this Saturday.

The curtain raiser game will be between Under 13 State Development team and the Under 14 Country select team. :)
The goalkeeper is the jewel in the crown and getting at him should be almost impossible. It's the biggest sin in football to make him do any work.

I suppose that would explain why they couldn't play the SASI "U17's" vs Tasmania game on Saturday as the W-League curtain raiser.....

No, I'm a club coach - just a parent when it comes to SASI.
Not a 'good' performance Saturday 1 - 1 draw.
Sunday much better with a good win - 5 or 6 nil, not sure exactly as I had to go organise the BBQ during last 30 mins of game.

the conditions on saturday werent great, theres definately some talent out there though. Btw, on saturday, i was the Assistant Referee on the side where everyone was standing. I dont think it was my best game, was a bit rusty from not being in action on the refereeing scene for a while.
