I agree think it's incredibly poor form. I won't make assumptions until I hear the full story, but If they chose not to play simply because they were out of the running for the league title that's poor sportsmanship. For a team that's 2nd on the ladder I wouldn't think they are struggling for numbers.

Sturt def Cumby
Fulham def Olympic

I think these are surprising results because both Sturt and Fulham played hard (and disappointing) games on Friday and Cumby and Olympic are not easy competition. Fulham IMO is now one of the best teams, but what happened to Cumby????

I would've thought by now, after many unexpected upsets or victories for most teams throughout the season, there wouldnt be the need for teams to have to make excuses or defend how they played. Teams have bad games and teams have good games on any given day. It happens.

This season more than any other has shown that anything can happen, and basically any game can go either way.

Sure :)

I didn't mean to criticise or anything like that, just wondering if there were any particular reasons for the loss that's all. Didn't see the game, so I thought Cumby were favs because Sturt came from the semis on Friday...

Did Sturt have all their players, like Macca, S. Black, Swaffer etc? 'Cause when they all play Sturt is very strong actually.

Swaffer isnt playing anymore.
But yes they had macca for the first half, then she went off with an injured hand, and they had blacky in the middle.

the wind didnt help either... Just made it hard for players to judge the ball.

i think something happened when she was making a save... i dont think its too serious (i hope its not), because she played out the rest of the half, and she didnt go down or anything, just came off at half time and started icing it...
