last night at the DC hearing the salisbury player got 4 weeks and the comets linesman got nothing its rediculs to be honest.
sorry, l was at the game watching from the sidelines, and that is absolute bullshit. Im not committed to any of the clubs, but l saw the salisbury sub punch the comets lineman once, and missed twice, and the comets linesman grabbed his shirt, BUT did not punch at all. He was just threatining, and l dont think he had any intention of hitting a kid. The salisbury team then left the field. Also, there was no referee for 30 mins. the comets officials had to get a not so qualified ref to call the game. He didnt really control the game really, he had no yellow/red cards from the looks of things.
Comets were 4-3 up, with 15 so minutes to go
Ive heard news from FFSA said that comets got the win 3-0... not quite sure though

sorry, l was at the game watching from the sidelines, and that is absolute Barossa Pearl. this is not what happened, sorry to say. the comets linesman had made some comments that werent even called for to the people in the salisbury box, callng them f***ing maggots and such and such. the salisbury sub said to him that he should just shut up and get on with the game. this is when the comets linesman grabbed the played and the sailsbury sub retaliated. just think, if you were a 15 year old played in his position, would you have retaliated too? im sure i would have. to have someone of the linesmans size grabbing a child his size is NO WAY acceptable to any coach or parent. its unfair to put any parent is the position of reffing a game as all refs are trained to deal with situations like this. and parents who do take on the role of doing this, credit goes out to you all. its very difficult to keep up with everything thats going on on the pitch. but to then find out that the salisbury player got banned 4 games and the linesman got nothing, is a disgrace. salisbury had 4 witnesses and caments had one, and although salisburys stories were different they all had the same lead up to the events.
